It was a great Thanksgiving holiday as we hosted a turkey day lunch for the first time in Greenville. The extended Merrick family came for a nice meal on Thursday & then we went to Rock Hill on Friday for the Thompson side. I fried a turkey for the first time at a friend's house Thurs am, along my first attempt at a bourbon cream gravy, which I will definitely being making that again...good stuff. We went and got our Christmas tree Saturday morning & started to get everything ready for Christmas but that will be another blog. Nice & relaxing day especially since they cancelled the Clem/SC game and that never happened.
Happy Thanksgiving!
