Over the last few weeks we've had a nice time getting ready for another football season and the early stages of Fall. The kids are taking swim lessons and loving it, though not without at least one scare, as Lucas thinks he can already swim. They have great teachers at the Y that are really patient with them and both B & L are really making some good progress.
Over Labor Day weekend I went to the the opening Clemson game & joined the rest of the family at the Lake afterwards at Andy & Becky's house in Chapin. We had a great time and the cousins too, swimming, fishing, boating, riding around in golf carts. Lucas had a blast on his first dirt bike with uncle Andy & kept repeating "faster, faster, faster," and bonding with Elise while Bentley & Addie spent some QT as well.
The following weekend was the family trip to Clemson for the Wofford game for B&L's only Clemson game of the year. Temp hot, kids cranky & the game lousy but good times were still had with some friends. All the pics below are from the Wofford game with the kids. This past weekend we surprised Pop & Wendy for a nice dinner out in Greenville to celebrate their 41st wedding anniversary complete with road trippers Andy & Becky. It is nice to have room for everyone now at the house and the food at Sassafras didn't disappoint. The Clem win on Sat capped off a great weekend and with cooler weather beginning Fall is on the way!
Oh & did I forget to mention that Lucas pulled his first fire alarm...at Bentley's school on PTO night no less...
