Welcome to our family blog!

After struggling to find the best way to share family pictures we decided that we would start a blog to keep you up-to-date on the kids. We hope you enjoy!

Spring Adventures

Well life has gotten in the way of my blog over the last few months but here is a quick recap of our Winter & Spring.  The pictures included here are some from our St. John trip & as I get some more pics uploaded I will add to the blog from tee ball, Anna's Haiti trip, etc.

Jan & Feb:
- We had a mild winter with no snow for kids.  Visited the museum many times & kids got back into the school routine.  Thanks to the passes to the museum we went 12-15 times just from Christmas to February.

March:
- Big Head Todd Concert in Charlotte thanks to Bo & Robin was a great time.
- Heart Ball was my big community sponsorship for the year which was fun and worthwhile & we helped raise over $300k for American Heart Association.

April:
- Scott & Anna's St. John Trip.  We decided that we needed a Spring Break of our own so Anna & head headed down to the islands for 5 nights.  We went from Charlotte to St Thomas & took the ferry over St. John for the week at the Westin resort.  It was a nice balance of relaxation on the resort and day excursions to many parts of the island, including kayaking on Cinnamon Bay, snorkeling on Trunk Bay, day dinghy rental for exploring & more snorkeling and just sitting in the sand.  It was a wonderful trip.
- Kids in Rock Hill for Spring Break.  While we were going the kids enjoyed time with their grandparents.
- Tee Ball.  I coached Lucas's team & had a blast chasing 10 3 year olds around.  Bentley played on a team as well with some friends from church and had a good time too.  I'll add some pics on this later.

May:
- Anna repeat trip to Haiti
- Zack Brown Band in Greenville.  Had about 60 church friends together for a night out with ZBB, very good show & nice mix of Southern Rock & Country.
- Trips to Savannah & Lake Murray.  While Anna was away took the kids to Savannah to keep them busy and they certainly did that with there cousins in Savannah, highlighted by a nerf gun war & a beach day at Tybee Island.  Once Anna returned we went this weekend with the other cousins down at the lake & we all enjoyed some time on the boat & just watching the kids tire themselves out.  As I write this the kids & Anna are all napping after too much fun.

- Next Up: Folly Beach
