Well today was an interesting one. Typically I'm not going to update but once a week but our Father's Day took a few unexpected turns so I thought I'd go ahead and share a few pics. We had a nice day with the kids...it started off normal with church, lunch out, chores and fun around the house. Late afternoon Anna and I had a date planned to hike up at Caesar's Head and then some casual dinner somewhere.

So our hike was great, about 3 miles... Good quality time with each other & a little exercise. The on the way down the mountain a text comes through that says "call me when possible" from our babysitter. Uh-Oh, so when we finally got service we find out that another bad storm came through Greenville and we had a few trees and power lines down. And one happened to land on our babysitter's car.

So now we are out of power, using flashlights & candles, the Duke trucks have been seen so hopefully we will get something taken care of over the next day or two. Happy Father's Day out to Poppy, Pop, Bo & Andy.
